What is biochar?

Biochar is a natural carbon that retains water and nutrients, giving the soil new strength. It improves drainage, reduces erosion, and helps grass grow thicker and healthier. It keeps the soil moist for longer, makes the turf more resilient, and simplifies maintenance.

Properties and benefits

Properties and benefits of biochar

High absorption

The structure of biochar can retain water up to five times its volume.

Retains moisture

Biochar retains moisture in the root zone, thus reducing the need for frequent watering.

90% of carbon

Biochar retains nutrients and enriches the soil — naturally and 100% organically.

Material Activation and Effect Enhancement

Water the biochar 48 hours before installation to allow it to absorb moisture. You can also mix biochar with other organic fertilizers before installation.

Incorporation into Soil

The activated mixture is evenly applied to the top layer of soil. One package (1 m³) of biochar covers approximately 1,000 m².

Maintenance for Optimal Results

Regularly check the moisture and structure of the soil. For long-term consistent effects, we recommend replenishing Biochar every two to three years.
