What are separation solutions?

Separation solutions (bunker liners) create a layer between the sand and the substrate, preventing contamination with debris, improving drainage, and reducing the formation of potholes after rain. This keeps bunkers looking great all year round and minimizes maintenance.

Our own technology and custom solutions

We offer our own technology as well as a range of other custom solutions. We will recommend the best one for you.

Patented GolfDren solution

GolfDren geotextile liners

With years of experience, we have developed a durable geotextile separation mat that combines the best properties.

Benefit cards image

We also offer

Benefir card img 1
Drainage liners made from porous aggregate

The bottom of the bunker consists of a solid layer of aggregate or porous concrete that quickly drains water.

Benefir card img 2
Synthetic liners

Areas made of durable artificial turf or polymer fibers serve as mechanically stable bases.

Benefir card img 3
Grass liners (sod)

A layer of natural sod creates a simple barrier against sand contamination, ideal for less exposed solutions.

Benefir card img 4
Rubber liners

A flexible mat made from recycled rubber that combines high durability with drainage function and good moldability.

Liners Features

Features of GolfDren Liners

Durability and safety

The material stays stable from –30 °C to +30 °C, resists UV and field loads, and its soft surface prevents damage from club impacts.

Eco-Friendliness

Polyethylene fibers are fully recyclable and do not burden nature – even after years of use.

Optional Color

We usually supply materials in white. However, upon request, we can also produce them in black or sand.

Preparation and Groundwork

First, we prepare the entire bunker. We clean the base of stones and soil, carefully level it, and create a solid foundation for the mats.

Unpacking, Cutting, and Laying

Then we unpack the rolls and cut them precisely to the shape of the bunker. Each piece is laid so that the mats adhere to the surface without gaps.

Welding for Full Protection

Once all parts are in place, we weld them together. This creates a continuous surface that ensures no impurities can penetrate.

Securing to the Ground

Finally, we anchor the entire mat with special pegs. This keeps it firmly in place, and the bunker is ready for sand filling and immediate use.

Is the reconstruction of bunkers too expensive? keyboard_arrow_down
We tailor the project scope to the size and budget of the course. Often, a gradual renewal in stages is sufficient, evenly spreading the investment over time. We offer smaller clubs a combination of local repairs and partial sand or drainage replacements for optimal cost/performance ratio.
